(1) The development team's continual attention to detail and construction
requires that all plans, equipment, dimensions, materials, and
specifications are subject to change without notice.
(2) Under the City of Chicago Building Code a room that has no
window and is not able to transfer light and ventilation from
an immediately adjacent windowed room is defined as a multipurpose
room. These rooms may be used as "a study, office, multimedia
room or other function normally associated with family dwelling
occupancy" but cannot be used as bedrooms.
(3) 2301 South Michigan Avenue is referred to as the Cadillac
Building in The Architects and the City: Holabird & Roche
of Chicago, 1880-1918 by Robert Bruegmann and in the City
of Chicago Landmark Designation Report for the Motor Row District
dated April 3, 2000.
